San Diego County Birds & Landscapes

The San Diego bird and landscape photography has four-morning photography sessions and five afternoon/evening photography sessions. There are plenty of Brown Pelicans, cormorants, Heermann's Gulls, Wood Ducks, shorebirds, Snowy & Great Egrets, and the possibility of about 60+ other species. We'll do some bird-in-flight photography, pan blurs, ocean & pier landscapes, low-angle bird photography and have some warm weather. We go to more places in and around San Diego County than other groups, so we have additional landscape and bird photography opportunities for shorebirds, gulls, terns, songbirds, and herons. We rise early two of the mornings to arrive at our shooting destinations before sunrise; this gives us great access to birds and light. Each afternoon we'll head to a different location for shorebirds, ducks, gulls, and a few landscapes. We will carpool to all sites since parking can be limited in some locations. This workshop begins in the afternoon of January 21st with an afternoon photography session and ends on January 27th with departures for home. Limited to six workshop participants, don't get lost in a big crowd. More images from this workshop can be found in the Galleries tab in the Workshop Images folder.
