San Diego Bird Photography Workshop
The San Diego bird photography workshop, has five-morning photography sessions and four afternoon/evening photography sessions. There are plenty of Brown Pelicans, cormorants, Heermann's Gulls, Wood Ducks, shorebirds, Snowy & Great Egrets, Western Grebes, raptors like shrikes, hawks and the possibility of about 60+ other species. We'll do some bird-in-flight photography, low-angle bird photography and have some warm weather. We go to more places in and around San Diego County than other groups, so we have additional bird photography opportunities for shorebirds, gulls, terns, songbirds, grebes, hawks, and herons. We rise early two of the mornings to arrive at our shooting destinations before sunrise; this gives us great access to birds and light. Each afternoon we'll head to a different location for shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons and raptors. We will carpool to all sites since parking can be limited in some locations. This workshop begins January 20th with an evening oreintation and ends on January 25th after the morning shooting session and departures for home. Limited to six workshop participants, don't get lost in a big crowd. More images from this workshop can be found above in the Workshop Galleries folder.
